Alcohol Analyser |
| Short description: |
The NIT-38 Alcohol Analyser is one of the NIT-38 NIR Transmission Analysers series. The Alcohol Analyser is specifically configured to measure liquids such as wine, beer and spirits using transmission spectra. Calibrations for red and white wines are included with the system. Calibrations for beer and other alcoholic beverages can easily be developed using the wine calibrations and adjusting for slope and bias. The system includes a diode array spectrophotometer, software, and liquid sample cell.

| Name: |
Near Infrared Transmission |
| Short description: |
The NIT-38 Dairy Analyser is a powerful NIR
spectrophotometer suitable for the analysis of fat, water,
sugar and protein in cheese, yogurt, milk, milk powder,
dairy spreads and margarine using NIR transmission
spectra.
The NIT-38 Dairy Analyser measures the amount of light
absorbed by the sample across the NIR spectrum from 720-
1100nm. Light is passed through a sample cell containing a
dairy product or other material. Fat, water, sugar and protein
absorb NIR energy at specific frequencies. The amount of light
absorbed at these frequency is used by the
instrument’s computer to measure the
concentration of each component.

| Name: |
Food Analyser |
| Short description: |
The Series 3000 Food Analyser is a NIT (Near Infrared Transmission) spectrometer designed to measure protein, fat, water, sugar, alcohol and other compounds in foods. The key to the Series 3000 Food Analyser is the sample draw that provides a means of analysing a wide range of materials, ie, granules, powders, liquids, slurries, emulsions, films and solids. The rotating sample drawer provides a means of collecting NIT spectra over a wide area and then averaging the spectra to give more accurate results. Samples can be loaded into Lexan dishes or disposable plastic petri dishes.
The Series 3000 Food Analyser is ideal for measuring meat, dough, cheese, butter, cream, yogurt, ice cream, milk powder, granules or any other sample that can be loaded into a dish. Analyses generally take 1 minute.
