The NIT-38 Dairy Analyser is a powerful NIR
spectrophotometer suitable for the analysis of fat, water,
sugar and protein in cheese, yogurt, milk, milk powder,
dairy spreads and margarine using NIR transmission
spectra.
The NIT-38 Dairy Analyser measures the amount of light
absorbed by the sample across the NIR spectrum from 720-
1100nm. Light is passed through a sample cell containing a
dairy product or other material. Fat, water, sugar and protein
absorb NIR energy at specific frequencies. The amount of light
absorbed at these frequency is used by the
instrument’s computer to measure the
concentration of each component.
